Haugaland Industrial Park is roughly 500 hectars and are located at Gismarvik in the municipality of Tysvær. About 300 hectars will be developed into industry sites. A new road in to the park is completed in 2010 as part of the new T-connection. Infrastructure within the park is partly in place already.
Karmøy Industrial Park is an established Industrial Park (Hydro Karmøy etc.) located at Håvik in the municipality of Karmøy.
Driving time from Haugesund, and driving time between Tysvær and Karmoy will be significantly improved when the new road system is fully completed in 2014. Improved communication also opens for closer integration between companies located in the two parks.
